Browsing
Sorting that works
Name, kind, size, Date Created, Date Modified, Date Added and Last Opened. Every sort is stable, with name as the second key.
Settings per folder
Sort, view and grouping for one folder, for a whole drive, or for everything. Fnav keeps them in its own database, not in your folders.
Home page with drives
Your user folder and every drive with free space, updated when a drive is plugged in or ejected.
Tabs and two panes
Cmd click a folder to open it in the second pane. Drag between panes to copy or move.
Fast search
Instant file name search in the current folder tree, and Spotlight for content search.
Image pane
Turn the second pane into a large preview and step through photos with the arrow keys.
Working with files
Copies with progress
Copy, move and rename with clear progress, pause, cancel, conflict choices and undo.
Cleaner mode
A size sorted view of what takes space in your folders, so you can find what to delete.

Eject from the sidebar, and see what is still using a drive when it will not eject.

Shortcuts and gestures
Change any keyboard shortcut. Click gestures such as triple click to copy are there if you want them, and off until you turn them on.
Pins and icons
Pin folders and files to the sidebar and give them your own icons.
What each edition includes
The Store edition runs in the App Store sandbox. The Full edition can do the few things the sandbox does not allow.
